LOOM, a branch of Catholic Charities' Refugee Resettlement Program, will be selling its beautiful handmade items after the 8:00 and 11:00 masses at St. Joseph on Sunday, April 28th. Loom enables refugee women to supplement their income thorough creating handmade objects. LOOM has sold products at ICSJ in the past, and has been incredibly touched by the response of our parish. Be sure to stop by their table to see what they have to offer this year!

Our Knights of Columbus Tootsie Roll Drive raised over $800 to support our parish SPRED program that provides religious education for those with disabilities. SPRED catechists Greg Racklaw (also a KOC) and Anita Holmes are joined by John Cadogan from the Old Town Knights of Columbus chapter.

Fr. Larry McBrady recently took our ICSJ Young Adults on a historical tour of Chicago. “Professor McBrady" has been studying the interesting history of our city for many years as a personal hobby.

Happy Anniversary! May marks the anniversary of ordination for many priests in the Archdiocese. Fr. McBrady (left) celebrates 46 years of service (ordained May 12,1971) and Fr. Larry (right) celebrates 33 years (ordained May 19, 1984).
