The father of the Afghan family we're sponsoring, who worked as a US military interpreter for 13 years in Kabul, is facing some challenges with his job due to commute time and reduced hours. Everyone who comes into contact with him is impressed: his quickness in learning new skills, his fluency in three languages (including English) and his warmth and consideration.
