Decision Coaching

When life feels uncertain, it helps to talk it through.

Sometimes the hardest part of a major decision is not knowing how to think it through clearly. Whether you’re facing a change in work, retirement, family life, or another important crossroads, a thoughtful conversation can bring perspective, clarity, and confidence. You may find this helpful if you’ve found yourself thinking:

  • “Something needs to change. I just don’t know what.”

  • “I think I’ve outgrown this job… now what?”

  • “This looks like a great opportunity… so why am I hesitating?”

  • “I didn’t plan for this.”

  • “I keep going back and forth.”

  • “I’m not sure what the right next step is.”

A conversation that brings clarity

What is decision coaching?

Decision coaching is a chance to talk through an important situation with someone outside of it—someone who can offer perspective, ask thoughtful questions, and help you think through how to approach complex decisions.

It is not counseling or therapy. It is a thoughtful, confidential conversation focused on helping you make well-considered decisions and move forward with greater clarity.

A space for discernment, too

Every decision or crossroad we face in life can also be an opportunity to reflect more deeply on your relationship with God. Along with practical conversation and perspective, decision coaching can help you consider how to invite God more fully into your decision and the path ahead.

Situations this may help with

  • career changes or job decisions

  • retirement and post-retirement questions

  • educational or vocational direction

  • weighing a new opportunity

  • navigating an unexpected life change

  • feeling stuck between options

  • needing clarity before a major next step

What to expect

Decision coaching begins with a simple conversation. There is no pressure and no complicated process—just an opportunity to talk things through in confidence, gain perspective, and see your situation more clearly.

If you’re facing a decision, a life change, or a situation that feels hard to sort through on your own, Mike would be glad to talk with you.
